As the home missions agency of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Outreach North America is committed to spreading the Word of God by helping presbyteries plant and support mission congregations across the nation.
Our Mission
Helping presbyteries plant and strengthen churches
We do this by:
- Recruiting, assessing, resourcing, training, and supporting church planters who have been called and placed in the field by their Presbyteries
- Coaching, training, and equipping established churches to flourish in their communities
- Training and equipping Christians to share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ
What We Believe
Committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and to the Bible as the Word of God
The ARPC is a small, familial denomination with a unique history.
We are committed to the truth and beauty of the gospel of Jesus Christ – the life, death, and resurrection of the Son of God in our place – and to the proclamation of that good news to all people. We embrace the authority of Scripture and a Reformed tradition of faith. The ARPC was formalized more than 200 years ago, with roots tracing back to 16th c. Scotland; today, in God’s grace, we continue to pursue worship and ministry together and look eagerly to the Lord for His guidance in the years ahead.
As part of Christ’s global Church, we have received great love and mercy from God, having been adopted into His family and made one in Him (Ephesians 2:19-22). This characterizes a truly familial aspect of the ARPC that we desire to share with others. Our relatively small size as a denomination allows us to live as a family in our General Synod, our Presbyteries, our committees and our interactions with one another. Come join us!
