Rev. Josh & Sarah Kitchen
Josh Kitchen’s first call to ministry after graduating from seminary was as a Bible translator in Papua New Guinea. While on furlough in Massachusetts to have their third child, the Kitchen’s joined a Bible study and found out they were praying about planting a church. The group asked them to consider staying and leading the church plant. The Kitchen’s began praying earnestly about the opportunity and felt as a family that they should return to the US to help plant the church. And so began Hope Reformed Church.
Hope is just outside of Worcester, MA, the second largest city in New England. We are currently the only ARP church in New England. We launched our first public worship service in the local high school media center in October 2017. We average between 35-40 worshipers on a Sunday in our current location, which we lease.
Our vision is that we would grow in our relationship with God, His Church, and our community. Over the years, we have mostly grown through evangelism and relationship building. One of our biggest needs has been for God to bring us Christian leaders and potential elders.
Would you consider adopting Hope?
